The Grateful Dead Band Members Join Forces With John Mayer to form Dead & Company, Concerts Planned

Fans of The Grateful Dead should be ecstatic due to the fact that they recently announced continuing their concerts and tour for this year, as the remaining members of the band join up with John Mayer to form Dead & Company. The newly named conglomerate Dead & Company is made up of the main members of the Grateful Dead; Bob Weir, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann along with newly obtained John Mayer. The band has announced a huge concert on the night of this upcoming Halloween (October 31st, 2015) and they will be performing at the world famous arena Madison Square Garden in New York City. Earlier this year, The Grateful Dead put on their ‘Fare Thee Well Tour‘ which had them performing shows in Chicago and in Santa Clara California. It was in celebration of their 50th anniversary. The concerts and shows were a huge success and fans now want more. Hopefully they will respond to the huge fan response and add more concerts and tour dates, but who knows, I guess only time will tell. At the show on Halloween in New York, there will be a few other special guests; Oteil Burbridge (Bass player for the Allman Brothers) and Jeff Chimenti (keyboard player for RatDog) will also be with the band. Concert tickets will no doubt be hard to get, even though Madison Square Garden is quite large and can seat many. I would still encourage fans to get a hold of tickets as fast as they can due to the fact that it will sell out almost immediately in my opinion.
