Canadian Superstar THE WEEKND Hits Number One Spot With ‘Beauty Behind The Madness’ Album

The Weeknd released his latest studio album just a little while ago and right after the recent MTV VMAs (Video Music Awards) Show, ‘Beauty Behind The Madness‘ has hit the number one spot on the Billboard 200 music chart. The Weeknd also received a big boost in popularity when the soundtrack for hit movie Fifty Shades of Grey was released. Two songs of his, Earned It and Can’t Feel My Face, were on that soundtrack album and both were played on the radio almost non-stop. After that explosion of new fans and support, two more songs of his latest album began to get major airplay everywhere. The songs ‘The Hills‘ and ‘Tell Your Friends‘ were now fan favorites too and The Weeknd just kept on growing his fan base. If you follow him on all the social media sites, you’ll see his fan base just blowing up every single day.

The Weeknd, aka Abel Tesfaye, sold almost 400,000 of his latest albums during the first week of its release. That’s a huge number and the only other entertainer that beat that Drake with his If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late album which sold over a half a million copies. There’s no doubt that Beauty Behind The Madness is a great album and that The Weeknd is someone you want to definitely want to add to your playlists.

Presently, The Weeknd is actually on tour and you can visit our THE WEEKND Tour Page to check out his latest tour information and you can even look for tickets.
