To the delight of her fans, Janet Jackson has just recently released the news that she has a new album coming out this year, and that she’s going on tour to support it. Black Diamond is the name of her newest album, and her 2020 concert tour. The record is the 12th studio album from the pop queen, and her last release was Unbreakable back in October of 2015. The album before that was Discipline in 2008. Understandably fans are excited because it has been about 5 long years since Jackson has released new music. The Black Diamond record will be released by Rhythm Nation Label, although there is no release date yet as of this writing. In her Instagram post announcing the Black Diamond name, Janet Jackson also said “I see that as the hardest to hurt or destroy. There is a lot that I have endured. I see myself as a Black Diamond in its purest form. I’m a rock, I have ruff edges but I keep moving forward. I want to show you my strength as well as give you strength.”. Tickets for her Black Diamond Tour begin tomorrow for the entire general public, although there already have been multiple pre-sales, so a lot of fans already have their tickets.
