It was on the 25th of March in 2022 when we all heard the crushing news that the drummer of the band The Foo Fighters, the amazing & well loved Taylor Hawkins, had passed away. The news hit everyone very hard; Fans, Band Members, Family, Loved Ones. Taylor Hawkins was an amazing human being. He was caring, loving, and always went out of his way to be such a nice guy to fans and anyone that approached him. He was a huge part of the band and it was hard to imagine the Foo Fighters continuing on as a band. At least not right away.
Fast forward to April of 2023 and the news just came out (after a few days of the band dropping hints that something is in the works and that same something is on its way) the band is ready to announce a new album, which is called ‘But Here We Are‘. The new release will be available starting June 2nd. One single song has been released so far, “Rescued” and the audio lyric video can be found below. When asked about the new album, the response from the band was “the sound of brothers finding refuge in the music that brought them together in the first place 28 years ago, a process that was as therapeutic as it was about a continuation of life.“. Foo Fighters have several live performances scheduled for this year, check them out here.
