If you’re lucky, you can catch a Garth Brooks concert on the big screen at a Drive In Theater near you.

Country super star Garth Brooks announced on Good Morning America that “We are excited because this is a reason to get out of the house, but at the same time you get to follow all the COVID rules from every individual state and you get to have fun and stay within the guidelines of social distancing … we’re calling it ‘social distancing partying.’ This should be fun.”. That statement was made on June 11th on the popular morning show, and it refers to the screenings that will be taking place on June 27th. On that date, a concert film made by Garth Brooks will appear on over 300 huge Drive-In Theater screens across the United States. Locally, for us in the Tri-State area, have the following places as options to see the concert film: The Rhythm & Reels Drive-In in Williamstown NJ (Gloucester County), Delsea Drive-In in Vineland NJ (Cumberland County), Long Island Adventureland in Farmingdale NY, Becky’s Drive-In in Walnutport PA, the Fair Oaks Drive-In in Middletown NY, and Warwick Drive-In in Warwick, NY. Tickets will be going on sale through Ticketmaster on June 19th at noon. The ‘films’ themselves will start to play at the drive-in theaters at sundown on June 27th. If this news doesn’t please his fans enough for now, they should know that Garth Brooks did release the name of his next upcoming studio album, and it’s named ‘Fun‘. There is no release date set yet for the Fun album, but stay tuned for details.
