Country music fans were on their feet and dancing in the streets of Flushing, Queens NY the other night. The reason? Because the almighty country music, butt kickers, Zac Brown Band played a concert there live after a couple of recent Mets games. The band played there 2 nights in a row and had the fans going crazy. Spotted in the audience were ex-Mets John Franco, Mookie Wilson and more.
The Zac Brown Band is mastered by Zac Brown himself who does most, if not all of the lead singing. He’s also very talented on guitar and a few other instruments. He’s known for his burly beard and the fedora hat he almost always wears. The band is on their Jekyll + Hyde tour and Citi Field was just 2 stops of a long journey. The band still has more concerts left on their tour schedule which presently ends in the middle of November 2015. Zac Brown Band’s latest record release was recent and it was named Jekyll + Hyde also. When it was first released, it came out as number 1 on one of Billboard’s top music charts. It stayed there (somewhere within the top listed) for almost 17 weeks! Some of the songs they are known for are Colder Weather, Free, Chicken Fried, Toes, As She’s Walking Away, Highway 20 Ride, Goodbye In Her Eyes and so many more. We found this great article that asked fans on their favorite Zac Brown Band songs, and they listed out the top ten responses. If you’re a fan, it’s worth checking out.
