Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band will return to the stage for one last set of concerts starting this fall. The rock and roll singer said that his upcoming Travelin’ Man tour will be the closing finale of his career as a touring musician. Meaning he plans on not going on tour any more after this. Seger surprised everyone in a press release that added more tour dates to the concerts that had been rescheduled from last year which he could not perform due to back surgery forcing him to cancel the Runaway Train tour and it hadn’t even started yet. It had been rumored, but never confirmed, that Bob Seger was already thinking about calling it quits, because that tour had been announced in a video that contained the phrase “one last time.”
Bob Seger will begin his Travelin’ Man – The Final Tour at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich., on Nov. 21 and end on May 2nd at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Houston Texas. Other dates will be announced in the future, including dates in Florida, San Diego, Las Vegas, Fresno, and Vancouver.
You can check out his full tour details on our Bob Seger Tour Page. With the exception of the Dallas and Houston concerts, tickets for the rescheduled dates are currently available. The Texas shows and most of the others will go on sale September 28th, while Toledo and Nashville will be available beginning September 29th. Members of his VIP ‘Bullet Club’ will have access to a September 25th special pre-sale.
