Her first studio album in almost 8 years, Unbreakable by Janet Jackson, has hit the number 1 spot on the Billboard 200 top music charts. This is the 7th time that Janet Jackson has had a ‘Number 1’ album. That’s pretty darn impressive. The album was released on October 2nd and it debuted in that Number 1 spot. Unbreakable had Janet Jackson working with some familiar faces, such as songwriters & producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. It also had her working with some new collaborators too, such as rappers Missy Elliot and J Cole. Just to name a couple of songs off of the new record, there’s No Sleeep (yes, 3 e’s) and Unbreakable, both of which I am sure you have heard by now. The album is today’s version of classic Janet Jackson and fans definitely are very happy.

The album has already reached the Number One spot on the following music charts: Billboard Canadian Albums, US Billboard 200, Billboard US Independent Albums and Billboard US R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
