BET has announced the nominees for the 2017 Soul Train Awards. The awards recognize the best in soul, R&B and hip-hop music across a dozen categories. Solange Knowles leads with seven nominations including in the song of the year category for her single “Cranes in the Sky.” Bruno Mars follows with six total nominations including song of the year for his single “That’s What I Like,” and the category for album/mixtape of the year for “24K Magic.” The glorious event will take place on November 5 in Las Vegas, and will air on television November 26 on BET.
