That little ol’ band from Texas, ZZ Top, is hittin’ the road again with their 2025 North American run, officially dubbed The Elevation Tour. Kicking off June 1 at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre in Victoria, British Columbia, these bearded blues-rock legends are set to deliver their signature swagger through a 51-date trek that wraps up October 10 at The Mill in Terre Haute, Indiana. With a career spanning over five decades, ZZ Top—fronted by Billy Gibbons’ gritty guitar riffs and backed by Elwood Francis on bass and John Douglas filling in for drummer Frank Beard—continues to prove why they’re Rock and Roll Hall of Fame royalty. Fans can expect classics like “Sharp Dressed Man,” “Legs,” and “La Grange” to ignite crowds across the continent.
Joining ZZ Top for this epic journey are special guests George Thorogood & The Destroyers, whose raw, blues-soaked anthems like “Bad to the Bone” and “I Drink Alone” make them the perfect opener for this high-octane tour. The itinerary reads like a love letter to classic rock fans, with stops at iconic venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, and the Beacon Theatre in New York City. Canadian dates include heavy-hitters like SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon and Place Bell in Laval, Quebec, ensuring the Great White North gets its dose of Texas boogie. This tour follows ZZ Top’s relentless 2024 schedule, where they out-toured every other classic rock act, and it’s clear they’re not slowing down.
From the dusty plains of Midland, Texas, at the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center to the coastal vibes of Costa Mesa, California’s OC Fair & Event Center, The Elevation Tour weaves through the heart of North America’s music scene. ZZ Top’s blend of blues, rock, and that unmistakable Lone Star attitude has sold over 50 million albums worldwide, cementing their legacy with hits like “Tush” and “Gimme All Your Lovin’.” With Thorogood’s gritty edge warming up the stage, this tour promises nights of spinning guitars, hotrod dreams, and pure rock ‘n’ roll soul.
