It’s been about 4 years since we’ve seen the band The Cure perform live in concert here in North America, but that all is about to change. What is being dubbed The Shows of a Lost World Tour, this The Cure Tour 2023 is scheduled to begin on May 10th when the alternative rock band takes to the stage at the venue known as the Smoothie King Center which is located in New Orleans, Louisiana. The band consists of members 6 active members including Robert Smith, Simon Gallup, Roger O’Donnell, Perry Bamonte, Jason Cooper and Reeves Gabrels. Believe it or not, The Cure have been around since 1978 and have quite a large cult-like following. On social media giant Facebook, The Cult have a following of over six and a half million people, which is quite impressive.
 

Who Is the band The Cure

 
Although the band hasn’t been on the road in about four years, The Cure tour is set to visit about 25 cities, with multiple shows in a small number of them. If you’re in or near Chicago, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis, Boston, New York, Detroit, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Tampa, Miami, Columbia, Los Angeles, Dallas, Seattle or more including a small number up in Canada, get ready because The Cure is headed your way. Fans are hoping to here some of there favorite songs by The Cure, including Picture of You, A Forest, Just Like Heaven, Disintergration, In Between Days, and Faith. The band hasn’t released a studio albums since 4:13 Dream which was released all the way back in 2008, although according to sources there may be 2 new albums coming shortly since the band has recently been working on new material.
