Goo Goo Dolls 2018 – 2019 Tour Dates

The Goo Goo Dolls have released their 2018 tour plans, and the tour itself is in celebration of their 20th anniversary of their 6th studio album, and they named it Dizzy Up The Girl. The original album of theirs with the same name was released back on September 22, 1998, and it’s been 20 years since then. I actually personally remember when that album was released because I went out and bought the CD the first day it was available. It is almost impossible for me to accept that it’s been twenty years, but it just goes to show you that time does fly. Dizzy Up The Girl was the band’s sixth album from inside the studio, and it was responsible for really putting the Goo Goo Dolls on the map. They had some success before this album, but it was this particular one that really propelled their popularity to new heights. The album has sold over 4,000,000 copies, and it still selling well today. Songs from the album that you should recognize are Iris, Slide, Broadway and Black Balloon. All of those did very well on the music charts. The band is categorized as both Pop Rock and Alternative Rock, but could easily fall into other categories as well.
This 20th Anniversary Tour celebrating the release of their album Dizzy Up The Girl 20 years ago is made up of about 35 dates, and their shows span places in the United Kingdom (UK), the United States (the U.S.) and Canada. The tour will visit cities such as Bristol, Manchester and London in the UK; Phoenix, Houston, Dallas, Saint Louis, Indianapolis, Nashville, Atlanta, Charlotte, Philadelphia, Washington DC, New York City, Red Bank, Boston, Buffalo, Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver and more in the US; and Toronto and Vancouver up in Canada.
