Megadeth 2020 Tour Dates

If there was any doubt that Dave Mustaine hasn’t kicked his cancer’s ass, here’s all the proof you need. The announcement came today that a huge concert trek has been laid out and it’s going to be The Metal Tour of The Year. Sponsored by SiriusXM, two of the most popular heavy metal bands are hitting the road together; Megadeth and Lamb of God. Opening for them are the bands Trivium and In Flames. Between all 4 bands, this is a heavy metal event not to be missed. The first announcement of the tour includes the release of almost 60 (sixty) dates across North America, set in two parts. First the tour opens on June 12th when they perform at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia, and goes until August 1st when they hit the stage at the Concord Pavilion in Concord, California. Part two of the tour picks up October 2nd at the newly named iTHINK Financial Amphitheater in West Palm Beach, Florida. It continues until the scheduled end show which takes place on November 13th in Reno, Nevada at the Reno Events Center.
It wasn’t too long ago that we wrote and posted an article about Megadeth’s lead singer Dave Mustaine having throat cancer. But it’s been a bit of time, and he’s gone through heck but is supposedly healthy and all good to go. This will be the first time the band hits the stage since their last tour back in 2017. When asked about this momentous occasion, Dave Mustaine said “Hello me! I’m back again, better than ever and coming to a town near you with LAMB OF GOD, TRIVIUM and IN FLAMES. If you want high octane metal madness this is the tour for you.”. LAMB OF GOD guitarist Mark Morton states: “The world has never needed heavy more than it does today and top to bottom, this tour delivers! LAMB OF GOD has toured with and been friends with all of these bands for years, but for all of us to be on the same bill is something extra special. Come early and stay late. This is THE metal tour of the year.”
