I really don’t think Robert Plant needs any introduction of any kind. The same could be said for the lovely Alison Krauss. If you follow either entertainer then you know that the two have a very strong history together of both performing and writing music. It’s been over a dozen years since the two have been on tour together and this present 2022 trek is in support of their latest studio collaboration, an album called ‘Raise The Roof’. Although they are calling it a ‘tour’, there’s only 20 (twenty) dates listed as of right now (for The United States). They also have 8 (eight) dates listed that take place over in Europe. Logic would predict that after so many years of being apart, plus the release of a new album, that their tour would be a lot larger but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see on that one. The first album they released together was called ‘Raising Sand’ and was released back in 2007. It was very warmly received and it began a wonderful relationship between the two. Certainly demand to see these 2022 shows will out weigh the amount of available tickets. The duo of Robert Plant and Alison Krauss will have to extend their 2022 tour if they even want to attempt to come close to meeting fans’ demands.
