Paul McCartney, the legendary Beatle and one of music’s most enduring icons, is hitting the road again with his highly anticipated Got Back Tour in 2025, bringing his timeless catalog to fans across North America. Kicking off on September 29 at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California, this 19-date trek marks McCartney’s first major North American tour since 2022. As a lifelong fan of both McCartney and the broader music scene, I’m thrilled to see him return to the stage at 83, still delivering the energy and charm that made him a household name. The tour will wrap up with a two-night stand on November 24 and 25 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois, though fans are already buzzing about the possibility of additional dates being added.
The Got Back Tour, named as a nod to the Beatles’ classic Let It Be track “Get Back”, promises an unforgettable live experience, featuring McCartney’s longtime band, including Paul ‘Wix’ Wickens on keyboards, Brian Ray on bass/guitar, Rusty Anderson on guitar, and Abe Laboriel Jr. on drums, alongside the Hot City Horns. While no opening bands or special guests have been confirmed for the 2025 North American leg, McCartney’s past tours have occasionally featured surprise appearances, like Dave Grohl or Bruce Springsteen at his 2022 Glastonbury set. As a music enthusiast, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for some unexpected collaborations, especially given McCartney’s history of sharing the stage with rock royalty. Fans can expect a setlist packed with hits like “Hey Jude,” “Band on the Run,” and “Live and Let Die,” blending his Beatles, Wings, and solo work into a nearly three-hour celebration of his legacy.
This tour will hit a mix of iconic arenas and stadiums across the U.S. and Canada, including stops at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, Coors Field in Denver, Colorado, and Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, for two nights. McCartney will also make his debut in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at Isleta Amphitheater and perform in cities like Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Hamilton, Ontario. For someone who’s been moved by songs like “Let It Be” and “Maybe I’m Amazed” since childhood, the chance to see McCartney in such diverse venues is a dream come true. Tickets go on sale July 18 at 10 a.m. local time, but you can check for tickets down below under this article text, and with his unparalleled career, spanning The Beatles, Wings, and a solo journey that’s earned him 19 Grammy Awards, this is a tour no music lover will want to miss.
