Taylor Swift once referred to ‘climate change’ as one of the most ‘horrific situations that we find ourselves facing right now.’. Although she has come out as a staunch climate activist, behind the scenes she practices a different theory. In the 2023 year alone, the entertainer Taylor Swift has flown by private jet on more that 180,000 miles. That’s the equivalent of about 8,000 tons of CO2 emitted in a year. The average person emits 16.

Here’s just 2 recent examples of how Taylor Swift is a hypocrite when it comes to ‘climate change’. Back in May 2024, Taylor Swift sent her private jet from Sydney to Hawaii just to pick up her crush Travis Kelce, her boyfriend at the time, and bring him back to Australia. That trip alone resulted in approximately 58 metric tons of CO2 released. That is the equivalent of what about 4,600 cars put out in a single day. Then, earlier in the year after Taylor performed in Tokyo, she immediately took her private jet straight from Tokyo to Los Angeles, then to Vegas, so she could catch, in-person, her boyfriend’s NFL game.
