Alice Cooper, the legendary shock rock icon, is gearing up for an electrifying North American leg of his 2025 “Too Close For Comfort Tour,” kicking off on May 2nd at the Mark C. Smith Concert Hall at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Known for his theatrical performances that blend horror-inspired antics with hard-hitting rock, Cooper has been a staple in the music scene since the late 1960s, first with his namesake band and later as a solo artist. The tour’s first leg promises to bring his signature macabre energy to cities like Savannah, Georgia at the Savannah Civic Center, Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the Miller High Life Theatre, and Atlantic City, New Jersey at the Ocean Casino Resort, wrapping up its initial run on May 24th. While specific special guests haven’t been fully confirmed, fans are buzzing with anticipation, expecting surprises given Cooper’s history of collaborating with notable acts—think past tours with the likes of Rob Zombie or his Hollywood Vampires bandmates Johnny Depp and Joe Perry. Hits like “School’s Out” and “Poison” are sure to ignite crowds, cementing his status as a pioneer who’s rattled cages for decades.
After a summer break, the second leg of the “Too Close For Comfort Tour” roars back to life on August 15th, with Alice Cooper opening for My Chemical Romance in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at Citizens Bank Park, before resuming his headlining shows on August 19th in Salem, Virginia at the Salem Civic Center. This leg will weave through vibrant stops like Knoxville, Tennessee at The Tennessee Theatre and Chesterfield, Missouri at The Factory, before culminating on August 30th at the Graceland Soundstage in Memphis, Tennessee—a fittingly iconic close near Elvis Presley’s storied estate. Born Vincent Furnier, Cooper’s journey from Detroit’s garage rock scene to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee has been fueled by anthems like “No More Mr. Nice Guy” and “I’m Eighteen,” songs that still resonate with fans old and new. The tour’s name hints at an intimate, spine-chilling experience, and with venues ranging from historic theaters to modern arenas, it’s poised to deliver the raw, rebellious spirit Cooper’s built his legacy on—possibly with opening acts adding fresh twists to the nightmare-fueled ride.
